Governor Vacancies (Voluntary Role)
As part of the school's Academy Council there are two vacancies for a Parent/Carer Governor.
Our Parent/Carer Governors are very valuable members of the Academy Council. We rely on them to help us to keep in touch with what parents/carers are thinking and to help us to decide what is best for all our children.
Our Academy Council meets once a term and any committees would meet termly too.
You do not need to be an expert in the field of education, all you need to do is care about your child's school and be prepared to attend meetings and contribute to the future of the school.
The Term of Office for Parent Governors is four years.
If you would like further information please speak to the Clerk of the Governing Body Mrs Latif (01753 810686) or email email@example.com. To apply please collect an application/nomination form from Reception. We have also attached the application/nomination forms.
The closing date for applications Friday 8th January 2021. If more than 3 applications are received a ballot will be arranged and voting papers sent to all parents.
